The Shelburne & Area Chamber of Commerce has spearheaded an ongoing project to encourage the removal of derelict business signs from our region’s section of Highway 103.  This initiative aimed to maintain a clean and inviting entrance to our area that presents the best possible image to the travelling public.

Along with communicating directly with business owners who own highway signs, the Chamber has also worked with the Municipality of Shelburne on creating by-laws that enforce private upkeep of highway signage.

In addition to highway signage, the Chamber has taken efforts to advise the Town of Shelburne regarding the beautification of Exit 26.  As the main exit off the highway to the Town, the Chamber understands the importance of maintaining a clean and enticing “front door”, encouraging travellers to Explore, Dine and Stay.
